Vital Partners to Preserve Our Region's Priceless History
The Heritage Center seeks sponsors to support our mission of preserving the region’s historical material and hope you will consider becoming one. The Center receives no public funding and relies heavily on the sponsors to help support our operational costs and maintenance of our database. Several sponsorship levels are available - each providing critical resources for The Heritage Center and unique benefits for the sponsor.

Founded in 1997, The Heritage Center is an all-volunteer, non-profit regional archives dedicated to the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania and Stafford. The Center’s collections include family and business histories, court records, church records, railroad records, documents on slavery and Jim Crow era legislation, local newspapers, maps, photographs, county records, postcards and other photographs and documents.

A place that loses its history loses its soul. Community-minded people, such as yourself, allow The Heritage Center to continue operating as the area’s only all-volunteer, non-profit regional archives.
