VISITING

 

The Heritage Center is located at 900 Barton Street in  Fredericksburg. The facility is wheelchair accessible with parking nearby.

The Center is located in the old Maury Elementary School at the junction of Barton and George Streets.  Entrance is on the side that faces William Street.

The Reading Room is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and by appointment.

Reading Room policies are as follows :

• Patrons must register each time they visit.
• All briefcases, bags, coats, jackets and umbrellas must be checked before entering the Reading Room.
• Heritage Center materials may not be removed from the Reading Room.
• Center Staff must make all photocopies. The photocopy charge is 50 cents per copy.

Center staff assists patrons but does not perform research.
