Besides serving as an archival repository and research facility, the Heritage Center encourages preservation of private collections through proper home care.

Most common means of non-archival storage in the home result in deterioration or destruction of documents, photographs and other materials.  Currently popular scrapbooks also speed destruction of cherished mementos.

The Heritage Center offers quality Hollinger archival products, including:

Sales:  Cash or check only.  Sorry, no telephone orders.  Members receive a 10 percent discount on most items.  Proceeds benefit the Center's mission.

Location:  The Heritage Center, 900 Barton Street, Old Maury Elementary School Building, Fredericksburg.

Hours:  Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m.
